Teaching Assistant

Overview

St John’s CE Primary Academy wishes to appoint a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to work 30 hours per week, 6 hours per day, all year round, in both our main school and wrap around facility.

The working hours are 6.45am to 1.15pm, Monday to Friday, with a 30-minute lunch break.

During term time the successful applicant will support in our Wrap Around care facility, Little Saints Before School Club, then moving into the main school during normal school hours to support in our Nursery or Early Years classrooms. During school holidays the role will be based working in the holiday club.

The post requires a Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification.

Salary is paid on NJC Grade 4, currently starting at £25,583 pro rata, hourly rate £13.26 (actual salary £20,743). Post holders will be expected to work all year round and an annual leave entitlement will be given, which will be taken during some school holiday periods.

The position will start after the Easter Holidays, on completion of pre-employment checks. Closing date:
