KS1 SEN Teaching Assistant - Burton

Are you ready to make a significant impact in a child's learning journey? We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Teaching Assistant to support children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in Key Stage 1.

• Provide tailored support for children with SEN, guiding them through their individual learning plans and helping them stay engaged in lessons.
• Deliver 1:1 or small group interventions focused on improving literacy, numeracy, and social skills.
• Work alongside experienced teachers to modify and adapt lessons to meet the specific needs of children.
• Be a positive role model, helping children navigate both academic challenges and social interactions.

• Previous experience working with SEN children, ideally in a school setting.
• A proactive, caring approach with the ability to motivate and support children.
• Level 2 or 3 qualification in supporting teaching and learning, or a similar qualification.
• A genuine passion for making a difference in children's lives.
