Part Time Teacher of Maths

Bailey Street Alternative Provision Academy is seeking to appoint a Part Time Teacher of Maths to join our school. We are ambitious about the future – creating learning environments and excellence in teaching and learning that provide our pupils with the best chance at a successful future.

• Plan and deliver engaging learning on a daily basis, developing exciting and innovative methods that stimulate interest and excitement in the classroom.
• Create a stimulating and nurturing learning environment designed around each individual’s needs.
• Observe, monitor and assess pupils, ensuring their personal development and well‑being are as important as the academic curriculum.

• Qualified teacher, or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) with a keen interest in encouraging and inspiring even the most challenging behaviours.
• Ability to turn the core maths curriculum into a fun and engaging subject.

• Part time commitment.
• Willingness to contribute ideas, resilience and caring nature.
• Two appropriate references required.
