Our partnership primary schools in Stoke‑on‑Trent & Newcastle‑under‑Lyme seek enthusiastic and experienced Primary Class Teachers to provide short and long term cover across Early Years, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage
2. Supply opportunities are for teachers who enjoy adaptability, variation, and the freedom to choose where and when they work.

What Academics offer an experienced Primary Teacher
  • Regular work across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

The ideal applicant will have
  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Previous experience working in UK primary schools.
  • A flexible, positive and professional approach.
  • The ability to quickly build rapport with learners and staff.
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.

Please be aware that your daily rate will be dependent upon experience, prior qualifications, training, and the client rate that is currently available.

We are looking for Primary Teachers who are hardworking, dedicated and have the drive and enthusiasm to make a difference. You will have good behaviour management skills and you will be able to adapt your teaching to the needs of the class.
