Candidate Profile
Grade 3 SCP 5, 10 hours per week, term time only plus five INSET days.
Compensation and ContractPro‑Rata approximately £5,974 (subject to the National Joint Council (NJC) pay award from April 2026, pending agreement). Fixed‑term contract until 31 August 2027 with potential to become permanent.
Working Hours and ScheduleRequired as soon as possible; 5 days per week.
3.30 pm – 5.30 pm.

The Successful Candidate Will:- Hold a relevant NVQ Level 3 or higher qualification suitable for EYFS.
- Have recent and relevant experience in a primary school setting.
- Work effectively, flexibly, and supportively as part of a team.
- Be energetic, enthusiastic, and passionate about working with children and the school.
- Demonstrate high expectations of conduct and act as a role model, leading by example.
- Participate in all aspects of St. Leonard’s school life.
- Responsive pupils who enjoy coming to school; well‑behaved and eager to learn.
- A welcoming, dedicated, hardworking, and supportive team of teaching, support, and office staff.
- A supportive and well‑organised governing body.
- Parental support valuing the school.
- A commitment to your continued professional development and progress within your role.
