Flourish Education are recruiting for a PE Teacher to join a Secondary School in Tamworth. Our partnership school is seeking a PE Teacher to deliver encouraging lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
You will take on full class teaching responsibilities, including planning, preparation, assessment and marking, parents’ evenings and report writing for KS3 and KS4 students.
This is a full-time role, and the position is due to start in September for the academic year.
Required Skills and Experience as a PE Teacher:- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Previous experience teaching PE within Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
- A strong understanding of the National Curriculum and assessment requirements
- Tracking student progress, marking assignments, and providing constructive feedback.
- Organising sports days, after-school clubs, and fixtures against other schools
Education:
- Pay from £168.80-£232.57, which equates to £32,916 to £45,352 based on working 5 days a week for a full school year.
- Holiday Pay- 12.07% of your daily rate is accrued into your holiday pot

- Free KCSIE-compliant Safeguarding and Prevent Duty Training, inclusive of modules relating to legislation, FGM and abuse.

- Regular contact with a dedicated consultant.
This PE Teacher opportunity is in Tamworth and is easily accessible via car, bus and train from Birmingham, Wilnecote, Lichfield and Nuneaton. This school offers on-site parking.
