PE Teacher

Flourish Education are recruiting for a PE Teacher to join a Secondary School in Tamworth. Our partnership school is seeking a PE Teacher to deliver encouraging lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.

You will take on full class teaching responsibilities, including planning, preparation, assessment and marking, parents’ evenings and report writing for KS3 and KS4 students.

This is a full-time role, and the position is due to start in September for the academic year.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Previous experience teaching PE within Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
• A strong understanding of the National Curriculum and assessment requirements
• Tracking student progress, marking assignments, and providing constructive feedback.
• Organising sports days, after-school clubs, and fixtures against other schools

• Pay from £168.80-£232.57, which equates to £32,916 to £45,352 based on working 5 days a week for a full school year.
• Holiday Pay- 12.07% of your daily rate is accrued into your holiday pot

• Free KCSIE-compliant Safeguarding and Prevent Duty Training, inclusive of modules relating to legislation, FGM and abuse.

This PE Teacher opportunity is in Tamworth and is easily accessible via car, bus and train from Birmingham, Wilnecote, Lichfield and Nuneaton. This school offers on-site parking.
