Lecturer in Design Surveying and Planning for Construction
Salary: £32,136 – £42,848 per annum. Benefits:
Up to £5,000 golden hello payment; up to £12,288 Employer Pension contributions.
Location:
Stafford College IOT.
Hours:
37 hours per week.
- Deliver lively and interactive teaching, learning and assessment to an outstanding standard on a range of programmes as appropriate.
- Secure outstanding success for all learners and ensure targets for recruitment, retention, achievement, attendance and progression are met.
- Engage in core duties including preparation, marking, monitoring student progress, preparing reports, setting and marking of examination papers, and developing and preparing flexible learning materials.
- Act as a course tutor to a group of students and undertake the duties associated with this pastoral role.
- Relevant qualification, experience and technical expertise in Construction Technical.
- Has or is willing to study for a relevant teaching qualification (DTLLS, PGCE or equivalent).
- Industry experience with current knowledge and ability to deliver to industry standards.
- Well organised and able to manage peaks and troughs of a varied workload.
- £5,000 Golden Hello payment (paid in the first year of employment).
