Are you a dedicated and adaptable primary school teacher in the STAFORD area looking for a flexible role within a supportive school environment?

We are looking for an enthusiastic Key Stage 2 Teacher who is passionate about delivering high-quality teaching across welcoming and well-established primary schools.

This is an ideal opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about educating and inspiring young people, helping them develop their knowledge, build confidence and achieve their full potential.

As a Key Stage 2 Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering well-planned, engaging and purposeful lessons across Years 3-6
  • Maintaining strong classroom routines and promoting positive behaviour and engagement
  • Supporting pupil progress during class teachers' PPA and release time
  • Working collaboratively with class teachers, teaching assistants and wider school staff
  • Upholding the school's values of respect, ambition and inclusion
  • Ensuring continuity, consistency and high standards in teaching and learning
  • Adapting lessons to meet the needs of pupils with different abilities and learning needs
  • Creating a positive, inclusive and supportive classroom environment where all pupils can thrive

To be successful in this role you must:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
  • Have experience teaching across Key Stage 2
  • Be flexible, well-organised and confident teaching across a range of year groups
  • Demonstrate strong classroom management, behaviour management and communication skills
  • Be able to quickly establish positive relationships with pupils and staff
  • Adapt your teaching to meet the needs of individual learners and different abilities
  • Be passionate about delivering high-quality, engaging and inspiring lessons
  • Be committed to creating an inclusive learning environment where every pupil is encouraged to achieve their full potential
