Daily/ Short Term Who are Academics? Academics are an Education recruitment company who specialise in supply teaching and recruitment. Academics are currently looking for a supply teacher to work in schools around the Stafford area. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about education and confident in managing a classroom in KS3 and KS4, ages 11-16.

To apply for this role you will need the following requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification. Experience teaching within UK secondary schools Strong classroom management skills. Excellent communication and organisational skills. An enhanced DBS on the Update Service The right to work in the UK. Able to commute to Stafford on a regular basis As this is a day-to-day Supply Teacher role, you will not be expected to plan lessons;

however, you will be expected to:
Create a positive learning environment. Work alongside the teaching assistant. Effectively manage the behaviour of pupils. Deliver pre-planned lessons in an engaging and creative way to your class.
