The Trustees are seeking to appoint a Breakfast & After School Club Assistant at Haughton St Giles CE Primary Academy. Haughton St Giles is a warm, welcoming and community minded school situated in a small village on the outskirts of West Staffordshire. As a Breakfast & After School Club Assistant, you will work under the supervision of the Headteacher and will be responsible for providing safe and stimulating wrap around care to pupils attending the school.

• Hold a NVQ Level 2 in Childcare & Education or equivalent;
• Have basic knowledge of first aid – ideally paediatric;
• Experience of working with groups of children aged 4-11 years;
• A good understanding of child development and the learning process, in particular barriers to learning.
• Ability to work collaboratively alongside other members of staff;
• Ability to be flexible and adapt to the needs of the working environment;
