As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support the class teacher with the delivery of engaging lessons
• Work with individuals and small groups to support learning
• Provide additional support to pupils who may require extra help
• Help create a positive, safe and inclusive classroom environment
• Support pupils with their social, emotional and academic development
• Assist with classroom preparation and general learning activities
• Build positive relationships with pupils, teachers and parents/carers where appropriate

We are looking for candidates who have:

• A genuine passion for working with children
• Previous experience working with children or young people (desirable)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, enthusiasm and a positive attitude
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team
• A professional and reliable approach
• A willingness to learn and develop

Relevant qualifications such as a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification are desirable but not essential
