What You'll Do:
  • Support students on a one-to-one basis and in small groups, helping them access learning and achieve their individual goals.
  • Work alongside teachers to deliver engaging, personalised learning that inspires confidence and curiosity.
  • Build positive, trusting relationships that help students feel safe, supported and ready to learn.
  • Prepare learning resources and help create stimulating, inclusive classroom environments.
  • Encourage students' independence, communication, emotional wellbeing and social development.
  • Support educational visits, enrichment activities and wider school life.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists and the wider school team to achieve the very best outcomes for every student.
  • Promote safeguarding, wellbeing and positive behaviour at all times.
What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who:

  • Holds GCSE English and Maths at Grade 4/C or above (or equivalent).
  • Holds a Full UK Driving Licence.

  • Enjoys working as part of a supportive team and is eager to learn and develop.
  • Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

Experience in an SEN or ASC setting is desirable but not essential. We welcome applications from people with backgrounds in care, hospitality, retail, youth work, leisure or other customer-focused roles who are looking for a rewarding career where they can make a genuine difference every day.
