As a Lead HMI Engineer, you will be responsible to lead the requirement, design, implementation, development and testing SCADA/ HMI for HVDC Control & Protection system. As part of this role, you will be working closely across various engineering disciplines within HVDC business. this includes developing organizational talent and Engineering process management, provide technical guidance, mentoring, drive consistent design practices, common global processes for projects implementation and provide technical solution that meets the NPI, project delivery and Tender objectives.

• Responsible for leading overall requirement, design, implementation, and testing of SCADA/ HMI for HVDC Control & Protection system.
• Responsible for Functional specification, HMI design requirement, HMI symbol and view specification.
• Independently able to handle customer in face-to-face meeting & closing all Technical Queries (TQs)
• Extensive experience with HMI/SCADA technologies, implementation, testing and installation.
• Extensive experience with industrial communication protocols for data and information exchange, such as IEC
  61850, IEC
  60870, DNP3, Modbus, and other relevant industrial communication standards
• Responsible for meeting GEV core principles of the SQDC (Safety, Quality, Delivery Cost) objectives
• Testing and debugging of complex IEC
  61850 communication systems using industry standard tools such as IEDScout, Wireshark etc.
• Coordinate and interface with different teams to make sure that all HMI signals are captured in Master Signal List(MSL) to meet customer requirements.
• Review configuration files for RTUs, BCUs, CCUs and Merging Units to ensure correct configuration for use by associated HMI
• Support on HSIT, IST FST and FAT witness with customer
• Good Knowledge on Networking & cybersecurity systems
• Prepare and present technical information for Substation Control Systems to internal and external customers.
• Execute and provide guidance for the analysis / evaluation of assigned projects that meet business standards, practices and procedures and the product / program requirements.
• Responsible for coaching and developing department talent.
• Uses judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems in areas of operational/product management, manufacturing, technology or engineering. Takes new perspective on existing solutions. Uses technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations.
• Support site activities relevant to the installation and commissioning of the control system.
• Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures.
