Youwillbepartofaspecialistteamproviding Subject Matter Expertise (SME) across Ground Support Equipment (GSE) ,developingengineeringsolutionstoensureequipmentismaintained,refurbishedandreturnedtoserviceinlinewithdefinedtechnicalandqualitystandards.
Key Responsibilities Carryout self-directed testing,diagnostics,repair,maintenance,modification,calibrationandmanufacture ofequipmentdowntomoduleandindividualcomponentlevelusingapprovedengineeringdocumentation. Perform plannedandad-hocadvancedrepairs using
Approved Source Information (ASI) orOEMtechnicaldata. Survey,refurbishandmaintain
Ground Support Equipment (GSE) torequiredstandards. Hold self-certification,over-signing,certifyingandconditioningresponsibilities ,including serviceable,unserviceableandscrapstatus. Supervise,trainandover-signworkcompletedbyjuniorstaff,equivalentgradesandapprentices. Support feasibilityanddevelopmentactivities ,includingreverseengineeringandthecreationofengineeringdocumentationandtestprocedures. Provide specialisttechnicaladvice as required. Usearangeof engineeringandbusiness
ITsystems . Workwithinestablished engineeringgovernanceframeworks ,ensuringcompliancewithpolicies,proceduresandlegislation. Supporttheresolutionof urgentoperationalrequirements ,particularly where
OEMsupportisunavailable. Worktoagreed schedules,budgetsandqualitystandards whilemaintainingastrongfocusonsafety. EngTech inline with UK-SPEC . Oneofthefollowingqualificationroutes:
Level4engineeringqualification withanadvancedorhigherapprenticeship,or Level3engineeringqualification ,anationallyrecognisedapprenticeship,plusrelevantengineeringexperience.
