Maintenance Engineer

Location: Staffordshire

I’m currently recruiting for a fantastic manufacturing company based near Stoke-on-Trent. We are in need of x2 Electrically biassed Maintenance Engineers. This will be a varied role with lots of different types of manufacturing equipment to get stuck into. Plus, plenty of overtime to bump up the pay packets.

My client is looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their double days shift at their site in the UK. Please read on if this sounds like an ideal position for you.

Maintenance Engineer Benefits:

 * £43,500 (rising to £46,000)

Duties of the Maintenance Engineer include:

* Double day shift 6-2 / 2-10

* Fault finding during production.

* Planned and Preventative maintenance.

* Assessing need of spare parts.

* Ensure that all plant and machinery is kept in a good working and clean condition.

* Documentation and records that comply with company policy.

Requirements of a Maintenance Engineer include:

* Apprentice trained.

* Relevant engineering qualification. (NVQ Level 3, BTEC Level 3, HNC).

* Electrical qualifications. (17th edition / 18th edition)

* Previous experience in similar role.

* Basic PLC understanding

* CNC knowledge. (advantageous).

* Experience with industrial machinery.

* Any mechanical experience would be a plus.
