Job Overview
Recruiting entry-level engineers for the Edison Engineering Development Program (EEDP) at GE Vernova. The program offers four 6‑month rotational assignments across multiple disciplines—including Design, Analysis, Systems, Strategy, Project Engineering, and Quality—along with technical and business leadership training, mentorship, coaching, and growth opportunities within GE Vernova’s Electrification business.
Responsibilities- Work on impactful, technically challenging projects in the power transmission industry.
- Complete rotational assignments across various engineering disciplines.
- Enhance core engineering skills through advanced courses in engineering and business leadership training.
- Receive technical training, mentorship, and coaching from world‑class technologists and experienced technical managers.
- Participate in development training and grow technical expertise in your chosen field while expanding skills in new areas.
- Fresh graduate with a Master’s degree in Energy‑related engineering fields such as Power Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Controls Engineering.
- Students majoring in other STEM subjects such as Mathematics and Physics are also welcome.
- Knowledge of power systems, power electronics, high‑voltage engineering, Matlab/Simulink, Python, Creo, PSCAD, AutoCAD, or C/C++ embedded/real‑time development experience is an advantage.
- Legally authorized to work in the United Kingdom (Graduate Visa not eligible).
- Any offer of employment is conditioned upon successful completion of a background check and drug screen (as applicable).
- Self‑motivating, proactive, and results‑driven approach.
- Strong problem‑solving and root‑cause identification skills.
- Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills; ability to work in project teams in an international environment.
- Willingness to listen, learn, and support the development of others.
- Ability to meet deadlines with high quality.
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
