Training & Application Engineer Protection​/Digital Protection Testing; f​/m​/x

What's it all about?

• Provide product consultation, training and support on protection testing and diagnostic equipment for digital protection systems for our customer base.
• Troubleshoot technical problems for customers and sales support and provide on-site support for customers in all questions concerning OMICRON applications.
• Develop and deliver training for OMICRON's products, both in person and with webinars.
• Provide input on new products, product strategies, development, and application needs.
• Directly involved with power system assets in the generation, transmission & distribution areas.
• Manage and develop application notes and technical papers, including presentations at relevant seminars/conferences.
• Travel share is up to 50%.

• Successfully completed graduate education in electronics or electrical engineering.
• Several years of experience in power systems, especially in the fields of substation protection apparatus.
• Customer support experience and enjoy giving training in both classroom and field environments.
• Pro‑active and open personality.
• Service‑oriented and enjoy working with customers and our motivated team.
• Communication and organizational skills among your strengths.
• Flexible, and would enjoy traveling to other countries.
