Optimize technical solution design by prioritizing safety, reliability, and cost-effectiveness, ensuring that every proposal aligns with customer expectations and technical requirements.
Drive the project engineering strategy by estimating budgets and defining execution designs in collaboration with regional leaders and OTR (Order to Remittance) experts.
Leverage cross-functional expertise by collaborating with platform, control, and design leaders to incorporate best practices and previous project learnings into new tender strategies.
What Success Looks Like in This Role
You should be a collaborative and strategic engineering leader with a passion for delivering innovative, high-stakes technical solutions for world-scale infrastructure projects.
The ability to lead large-scale, complex tenders (valued up to £1B+) by coordinating multi-disciplinary engineering teams to meet rigorous quality, cost, and deadline requirements.
The capability to navigate high-scrutiny environments, providing clear technical justification and strategic updates to senior leadership throughout the bid process.
An understanding of the full project lifecycle and the financial processes required to mitigate risks and ensure deliverability in a high-stakes EPC environment.
An expertise in high-voltage engineering (HVDC preferred) or comparable power sector disciplines, with a proven track record of managing massive infrastructure projects where precision and scale are critical.
A keen interest in stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership, acting as the primary technical voice to influence senior decision-makers and drive projects across the finish line.
A formal education and subsequent University bachelors or masters degree in an electrical discipline are nice to have, but we are most interested in your total experience and professional achievements.
