Up to £28,000 per annum DOE

Our client, a well-established manufacturing business, is looking for an all-round Accounts Assistant with strong Accounts Receivable experience to join their finance team. This position will primarily focus on Accounts Receivable and Sales Ledger, while also supporting the wider finance function.

• Raising and processing sales invoices and credit notes
• Managing the sales ledger and maintaining accurate customer records
• Credit control and proactive debt collection
• Cash allocation and bank reconciliations
• Customer account reconciliations
• Supporting month-end processes and reporting
• Assisting with audits and maintaining financial controls
• Ad hoc finance duties as required

• Proven experience in Accounts Receivable / Sales Ledger
• Credit control experience (B2B environment preferred)
• Strong reconciliation skills and attention to detail
• Good Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (Sage, SAP, Dynamics etc.)
• AAT qualified or studying (desirable)
• Experience with in manufacturing or product-based environments (advantageous)
