Finance Business Partner

Position: Finance Business Partner (6 month contract)
(6-Month Fixed-Term Contract) Are you looking to work for a leading organisation in Middlesbrough? We're recruiting a Finance Business Partner for an initial six-month fixed-term contract. Working closely with operational and commercial teams, you'll act as their key finance contact-providing meaningful analysis, challenging performance and delivering the insight needed to support commercial decision-making. Key responsibilities will include:
Owning the month-end process and producing management accounts Providing variance analysis and presenting clear insights to senior leaders Preparing annual budgets and quarterly forecasts Supporting new commercial opportunities, investments and projects Producing balance-sheet reconciliations Identifying and delivering process improvements Supporting internal controls, year-end audit activity and ad hoc projects We're looking for a qualified, part-qualified or qualified-by-experience accountant with strong management-accounting experience.

You'll be commercially minded, naturally analytical and confident building relationships with stakeholders at all levels. Strong Excel skills are essential, alongside the ability to interpret financial and non-financial data and communicate your findings clearly.
