We are currently recruiting for transferees at the rank of Police Constable – Response or Neighbourhood Officers. Staffordshire Police serves more than 1.1 million people across 1,000 square miles, from rural moorlands to major urban areas such as Stoke‑on‑Trent, Tamworth, Cannock and Burton‑upon‑Trent. Around 3,500 colleagues make up the force, comprising about 2,000 officers and a wide range of community support staff and volunteers.

Neighbourhood policing plays a significant part in tackling issues and working in partnership with local communities. Our response teams are on hand 24/7 to keep our communities safe. Our highly skilled investigations teams work effectively to solve crime and support victims.

Eligibility- To apply to transfer to Staffordshire as a Police Constable, you must be substantive at the rank you are applying for and have completed and passed your probationary phase.
- You must be transferring from a Home Office Force.
- Complete and pass a role‑based interview focusing on the competencies and values required for the role.
- Showcase the skills you can bring to identify the most appropriate posting.
- Appointment will depend on successfully passing pre‑employment checks, vetting, and medical checks, including a drug test and a fitness test.
