The Role

We are seeking an Infrastructure Support Officer to join our established and supportive Technology Shared Service, working across Cannock Chase District and Stafford Borough Councils.

These are exciting opportunities to play a key role in the ongoing development of our shared service, supporting managers and leaders across two neighbouring local authorities. You’ll be at the heart of a varied and rewarding workload, helping to deliver high‑quality services to our communities.

Whether your expertise is in network or cyber security, you’ll be contributing to an ambitious agenda as we support both councils through the evolving local government landscape.

About You
  • Qualified to degree or equivalent experience (or able to demonstrate equivalent vocational experience)
  • Experienced in ICT Infrastructure, applications and service delivery, working across a broad range of security matters
  • Confident operating in a public sector or similarly complex environment
  • Collaborative, professional and committed to delivering high‑quality technology services/advice
