Manor House Care Home is a large, privately owned service with several specialist divisions, providing tailored care for up to 125 residents. Within our 40 bed Complex Dementia Care Unit, we provide specialist nursing care for residents living with advanced dementia, cognitive decline and associated behavioural needs in a structured and therapeutic environment.

As a Registered Nurse within our Complex Dementia Care Unit, you will lead the delivery of dementia focused, person centred nursing care. You will complete cognitive and behavioural assessments, develop dementia specific care plans and support residents experiencing memory loss, confusion, distress or changes in behaviour.

You will oversee medication management, including treatments relating to behavioural and psychological symptoms of dementia, ensuring documentation reflects each resident’s cognitive presentation and emotional wellbeing.

A key part of your role will involve guiding the care team in responding appropriately to behavioural changes, using de escalation techniques and maintaining a calm, reassuring environment that promotes familiarity and stability. You will work closely with families and multidisciplinary professionals to ensure consistent approaches that protect dignity and quality of life.

• Registered Nurse with an active NMC PIN
• Experience supporting residents living with advanced dementia
• Confidence managing behavioural and psychological symptoms
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• A calm, structured and person centred approach
