Responsibilities and Qualifications

• Provide pediatric occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist and in accordance with physician-approved treatment plans.
• Implement individualized therapy programs to improve fine motor skills sensory processing strength range of motion mobility self-care and functional independence.
• Educate parents and caregivers on home exercise programs adaptive techniques and strategies to support continued progress.
• Accurately document patient treatments progress and outcomes in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with Occupational Therapists Speech-Language Pathologists Physical Therapists nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Build positive relationships with children and families while delivering compassionate patient-centered care.
• Maintain compliance with all company policies state regulations and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current Texas Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license or eligible to obtain licensure before the anticipated start date.
• Pediatric experience is preferred but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for working with children and helping them achieve developmental milestones.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
