Job Description & How to Apply Below
Getting people trained is one thing. Making sure they have the knowledge, confidence and skills to do their jobs safely and effectively is what really matters. As a Training Coordinator, you'll help make that happen, bringing structure to employee development, improving competency across the operation and making sure essential standards are met.
You'll work closely with the People & Culture team and operational managers in a busy, hands-on environment. From supporting new starters and delivering group sessions to improving SOPs and maintaining compliance records, you'll have a direct impact on how people learn, perform and develop.
What's in it for you
The opportunity to make a real difference to employee development, safety and performance.
A varied role combining hands-on delivery, administration and continuous improvement.
The chance to work closely with operational managers and influence how colleagues are developed.
Involvement in improving learning processes, competency assessments and digital systems.
The opportunity to support employees from their first day through to ongoing skills development.
A training position where your knowledge of compliance and operational standards will be valued.
Your responsibilities as Training Coordinator
Plan and coordinate site-wide learning activities, SOP instruction and competency assessments to maintain operational standards.
Deliver group sessions and support new starters through induction, onboarding and initial development.
Create, review and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions to keep guidance accurate and accessible.
Maintain employee records, monitor competency requirements and ensure compliance documentation remains up to date.
Use Redzone Learning and other digital platforms to support development and improve how learning is delivered.
Work with operational managers to identify skills gaps, address development needs and support continuous improvement.
What we're looking for in a Training Coordinator
Experience in learning and development, HR administration, compliance or a similar operational role.
Experience delivering group training, coordinating employee development and maintaining accurate records.
Knowledge of SOPs, Work Instructions and competency assessment processes.
Strong IT skills, including experience using learning management systems or digital platforms.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with food manufacturing, production or BRC standards knowledge being advantageous.
If you enjoy helping people develop, improving standards and making sure employees have the skills to succeed, this Training Coordinator opportunity could be a great next step. Apply today to find out more
