Multi-Skilled Engineer

Overview

Mechanical Maintenance Engineer role based in Stafford (ST16 3UB
). Permanent position with a salary up to £38,000 per annum. Working hours are Monday to Thursday, 8:00am – 5:00pm and Friday, 8:00am – 12:00pm.

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive maintenance across the site.
• Maintain and repair a range of mechanical building services equipment.
• Undertake maintenance on HVAC systems, including AHUs and associated plant.
• Complete general plumbing and mechanical maintenance tasks.
• Carry out fault finding and repairs on mechanical systems.
• Assist with basic building fabric maintenance where required.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with site health and safety procedures.
• Accurately complete maintenance reports and job documentation.
• Build positive working relationships with the client and wider engineering team.

• City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2/3 in Mechanical Engineering, Plumbing, Building Services, or a related discipline.
• Previous experience within building services or facilities maintenance.
• Good mechanical fault-finding and maintenance skills.
• Experience working on industrial or commercial sites is desirable.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills with a proactive approach to maintenance.
