Join the Lanes Group (Sapphire Utility Solutions) as a Patching Supervisor at our Stafford office.

Due to business expansion, we are looking for a new Patching Supervisor to report to the Lining Project Manager. The role covers contracts within the Patching and Lining division. The ideal candidate thrives in leading a team, has excellent management skills and can communicate clearly under pressure. Must hold a UK driving licence.

Hours:

50 hours per week, 07.00am-07.00pm, Monday to Friday. Weekend work available.

Salary: £38,000 - £40,000 per annum (depending on experience).

• Support the project manager in planning and management of the Patching teams.
• Strong man‑management skills are essential.
• Conduct audits, ensure compliance, and maintain site safety in line with company policies and health and safety.
• Problem solving – analytical skills.
• Customer interaction.
• Client interaction.
• Fleet and plant management.
• Monitoring productivity.
• Excellent housekeeping whilst adhering to all health and safety policies and procedures.
• Providing positive and innovative input to the team.
• Ensuring safety issues are reported in line with company procedures.
• Demonstrate leadership.
• Attend meetings at various sites on a weekly basis to discuss potential works and CPIs.
• Daily management of live work bank, liaising with client and lining team daily and reacting to high‑priority jobs.

• Excellent listening and communication skills.
• Strong management experience essential.
• Customer and client interaction at all levels.
• Competent in IT.
• All aspects of patching, lining and robotic cutting.
• Team player.
• Positive, can‑do attitude.
• Ability to multitask.
• Ability to work to deadlines and be responsive to business needs.
• A strong work ethic.
