Must sign Non Disclosure Agreement The Job People are seeking a Sintering Expert to join a leading manufacturer in Staffordshire. The ideal candidate will be highly process‑focused, bring strong hands‑on shop‑floor expertise, and be capable of resolving material‑variability challenges in sintered tungsten production.

Required Experience of an Sintering Expert - Contract

Direct, hands-on experience with tungsten or tungsten heavy alloy production

Strong understanding of powder metallurgy and sintering

Experience diagnosing real production failures, not just lab-scale issues

Comfort working on the shop floor reviewing furnace data and operator practice

Ability to challenge assumptions and enforce process discipline

Experience in foundry, heat treatment, advanced materials, or refractory metals is prefered but not essential.

Duties of an Sintering Expert - Contract

You will identify a clear root cause hypotheses, ranked by likelihood

Identify and process sensitivities and critical control points

Practical recommendations for Sintering parameter windows, Process discipline improvements. traceability or documentation gaps

Provide support with controlled trials when required
