Quality Inspector

TCS Consulting is recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing precision engineering business in the Stoke area, seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to join their quality team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-focused inspection professional with strong CMM programming experience to join a modern, quality-driven manufacturing environment.

As Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring machined components meet drawing specifications and customer requirements, supporting production and engineering teams with accurate inspection and documentation.

You will play a key role in maintaining high quality standards within a precision machining environment.

• Inspect precision machined components against engineering drawings

• Program and operate CMM machines from CAD models using PC-DMIS

• Carry out first off, in-process and final inspection

• Use manual inspection equipment (micrometers, verniers, height gauges, bore gauges etc.)

• Record and maintain accurate inspection documentation

• Support root cause investigations and continuous improvement activities

• Work in line with company quality procedures and customer requirements

• Strong background in precision machining environments

• Experience programming CMMs from CAD models using PC-DMIS

• Good understanding of geometric tolerancing and engineering drawings

• Experience working within ISO
  9001 quality systems

• Experience with in AS9100 environments would be advantageous

• Methodical, detail-focused and quality-driven approach
