we are seeking dedicated powder coating plant operatives to join our manufacturing team on rotating shifts. This role involves operating and maintaining equipment within a dynamic powder coating environment, ensuring high-quality finishes on a variety of products. Applicants must be willing to work flexible hours on a rotating shift pattern, including early mornings, afternoons, and nights. All roles are paid positions, including internships, and offer the chance to grow within the company.

responsibilities:

• working on a rotating shift: mon-fri: 6am till 2pm & mon-thurs 2pm - 10:30pm, fri 2:00pm till 8:00pm.
• operate powder coating machinery and associated equipment safely and efficiently
• prepare surfaces for coating by cleaning, masking, or sanding as required
• monitor coating processes to ensure consistent quality and adherence to specifications
• perform routine maintenance and inspections on plant equipment to minimise downtime
• assist with loading and unloading materials using hand tools and power tools
• maintain a clean and organised work environment in accordance with health and safety standards
• record process data accurately and report any issues or defects promptly
• support fabrication or assembly tasks related to the coating process when necessary

experience:

• mechanical knowledge is essential, with experience in operating or maintaining industrial equipment preferred
• proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and basic fabrication techniques
• previous experience within powder coating techniques is essential.
• familiarity with assembly processes and working in a warehouse or manufacturing setting is desirable
• basic maths skills for measurements, calculations, and quality checks are required
• previous experience in construction painting or working with powder coating systems will be considered an asset
