Crem Recruitment is proud to be partnering with a well established global manufacturing organisation in Stafford, as they continue to strengthen their night shift team.

This is not a traditional operator role. This position sits at the heart of production, leading from the front on the line, troubleshooting issues, maintaining standards and ensuring performance never drops. You will be trusted, upskilled and developed within a structured pay framework that recognises progression and capability.

The Role

• Operating and overseeing automated production and packing equipment

• Leading the line and acting as the first point of call when issues arise

• Supporting safe start up and shutdown procedures

• Completing production records, quality documentation and performance logs

• Carrying out routine equipment checks and autonomous maintenance tasks

• Monitoring downtime and contributing to performance improvement initiatives

• Ensuring compliance with food safety, quality, health and safety and environmental standards

• Working closely with Quality and wider production teams to maintain output and standards

The Requirements

• Previous experience within manufacturing or production environments

• A technical mindset, mechanical or electrical knowledge would be advantageous

• Experience working to strict safety and quality standards

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes

• Confident problem solving skills, exposure to Root Cause Analysis methods would be beneficial

• Reliable, committed and comfortable working permanent night shifts

• Educated to GCSE level or equivalent
