Food Production Operative

Meridian Business Support are recruiting for a Permanent Food Production Operatives for their prestigious client based in Stafford.

This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate looking to start as soon as possible and the role is to start straight permanent, there will be an interview process for this role.

What You'll Do:

Operate state-of-the-art processing and packing equipment with advanced manufacturing recipe management systems.
Inspect and maintain safety standards (LOTO) and quality parameters (HACCP/GMP).
Execute safe start-up and shutdown procedures for equipment.
Prepare essential production documents, including manufacturing records, quality logs, and productivity reports.
Perform Autonomous Maintenance tasks, including cleaning, inspection, and adhering to prescribed standards.
Maintain equipment performance by understanding its structure and functions, while identifying and resolving abnormalities.
Collaborate with a team or work independently to solve problems using Continuous Improvement tools like RCA (Root Cause Analysis) and the 5 Whys method.
Ensure full compliance with Company Quality, Food Safety, Health & Safety, and Environmental standards.

What We're Looking For:

Candidates with experience working in FMCG environments ideally within the Food and Beverage Industry.
Educated to GCSE level.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
Team player with the ability to work independently when needed.
A proactive problem solver with a passion for continuous improvement.

Working hours - Week 1:
Sunday 19:00 – 07:00, Monday 19:00 – 07:00, Tuesday 19:00 – 07:00, Wednesday 19:00 – 07:00. Week 2:
Monday 19:00 – 07:00, Tuesday 19:00 – 07:00, Wednesday 19:00 – 07:00.

Salary Offered:
Base Salary £30,000 - £36,000, DOE
