Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Shift Pattern:
Rotating shifts:
* Week 1: 06:00 – 14:00
* Week 2: 14:00 – 22:00

We are representing a leading manufacturer of high-quality fire sprinkler systems, supplying customers across the UK. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a motivated and reliable Fabrication Operative to join our production team.

The Role
Working within our fabrication department, you will be responsible for producing components and assemblies used in fire sprinkler systems. The role involves operating fabrication equipment, interpreting technical drawings, and ensuring products are manufactured to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Fabricate and assemble sprinkler system components in line with production schedules.
* Read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions.
* Operate fabrication machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently.
* Measure, cut, drill, and prepare materials to specification.
* Carry out quality checks throughout the manufacturing process.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
* Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve production targets.
Requirements
Essential:
* Previous experience in a fabrication, manufacturing, or engineering environment. (desired)
* Ability to read and follow technical drawings.
* Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
* Strong work ethic and reliability.
* Ability to work rotating shift patterns.
Desirable:
* Experience working with steel pipework or metal fabrication.
* Previous experience within fire protection, sprinkler systems, or mechanical manufacturing.
* Forklift licence (advantageous but not essential).
