Position: UK Production Planner & Scheduler

We are looking for an experienced Production Planner & Scheduler to join our UK team, supporting our Adhesives department
. This is a key role responsible for ensuring efficient planning, scheduling, and supply of raw materials and finished goods to meet business and customer needs.

Reporting directly to the UK Production Planning Manager
, you will play a critical part in driving operational excellence, improving processes, and maintaining strong supplier relationships within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities Planning, Scheduling & Procurement
  • Lead bulk raw material and packaging procurement
    , production planning, and scheduling
  • Develop and manage production plans to meet customer demand while optimising resources
  • Monitor production activity and proactively identify improvements and solutions
  • Ensure efficient and cost-effective execution of production plans
Supply Chain & Supplier Management
  • Manage supplier relationships and expedite critical raw materials
  • Ensure security of supply for key materials
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams and external vendors to maintain continuity
Performance & Continuous Improvement
  • Drive improvements in:
  • Scheduling adherence (KPI)
  • Process efficiency and quality
  • Inventory management (DSI, slow movers, excess stock)
  • Contribute to cost-saving initiatives through continuous improvement
  • Support and drive cultural and behavioural change within production where required
Key Accountabilities
  • Customer service performance (On-Time Shipment – OTS)
  • Inventory control (DSI and stock optimisation)
  • Vendor collaboration and engagement
About You Experience & Skills
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in:
  • Supply planning (raw materials & packaging)
  • Inventory management
  • Strong knowledge of MRP planning (SAP preferred)
  • Proven ability to manage and deliver KPIs
  • Power BI experience (advantageous)
