Mon - Thurs 07:00 - 16:00, Friday 07:00 - 13:00

We are currently seeking a Hydraulic Fitter to join our team at Barton under Needwood. This is a hands‑on role focused on carrying out servicing, overhauls and associated mechanical repairs on hydraulic components within rail.

• Carry out mandatory servicing and mechanical repairs on rail vehicle systems and components.
• Complete fault finding down to component levels.
• Install, maintain and repair hydraulic pumps, motors and hydraulic components.
• Carry out quality inspections to all of the assembly stages.

• Proven experience in a mechanical fitting, maintenance or overhaul environment.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems and component repair.
• A flexible and proactive approach to work.
• Commitment to safe working practices.

• Previous experience within the rail or automotive industry.
• Experience working on large sub‑assembly overhaul activities.
