Are you a Coil Winder looking for a stable Monday to Thursday role (No Friday work) for an International Manufacturer known their supportive working environment and Structured pay rises aswell as optional Overtime to increase earnings?
This is a site-based production role within a large, established contract manufacturing business, focused on winding copper wire coils and supporting light electrical / electromechanical assembly work within a structured manufacturing environment.
This role is aimed at someone with previous coil winding experience, or a very closely related electrical assembly background involving precise winding, wiring, soldering or cable assembly work.
The Role:
- Wind copper wire coils to specification
- Follow job sheets, work instructions and production processes
- Use coil winding equipment, hand tools and basic assembly equipment
- Prepare, cut, strip, tape, insulate or finish wire and components where required
- Carry out visual checks and basic quality checks on completed work
- Maintain neat, accurate and consistent production standards
- Support light electrical / electromechanical assembly tasks where required
- Monday to Thursday only, 9 hours 45 minutes per day
- 39-hour working week
The Person:
- Coil Winder or similar
- Previous coil winding experience
- Able to follow work instructions and production processes accurately
- Good attention to detail
- Good hand skills and dexterity
- Comfortable with repetitive precision assembly work
- Reliable, careful and quality-focused
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing or production environment
