We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Semi-Automatic Welder / Production Operative to join our busy production team. The Role
As a Semi-Automatic Welder / Production Operative, your responsibilities will include:
* Carrying out semi-automatic (MIG) welding to a high standard.
* Manufacturing products in line with engineering drawings and production specifications.
* Preparing, assembling, and welding steel components.
* Operating production machinery and equipment safely.
* Performing quality checks to ensure finished products meet company standards.
* Using hand and power tools.
* Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
* Working as part of a team to meet daily production targets.
What We're Looking For
The successful candidate will have:
* Previous experience in MIG/semi-automatic welding.
* Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.
* The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings (preferred).
* Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
* A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Good timekeeping and reliability.
Desirable Skills
* Fabrication experience.
* Experience operating workshop machinery.
* Forklift licence (advantageous but not essential).
