Maintenance Engineer

Overview

The Maintenance Engineer will join a leading food manufacturer based near Stafford, working at their Bradley site. This full-time, permanent position offers a salary between £40,000 and £50,000 per annum, with a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern of 12-hour day shifts. The role is suited to a multi-skilled engineer with production and manufacturing experience.

• Repair and service site machinery
• Carry out preventative maintenance checks to avoid breakdowns
• Order spares, parts, tools, supplies and consumables as required
• Suggest upgrades when old equipment costs too much to keep
• Ensure all work follows health and safety rules
• Maintain up-to-date maintenance logs and record all completed jobs on machinery

• Experience as a maintenance engineer within production and manufacturing environments
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude
• 18th Edition electrical qualification
• Mechanical knowledge of conveyors, bearings, chain drives, sprockets, etc.
• Electrical fault-finding ability
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

• Starting salary of £40,000 – £50,000 per annum, with salary reviewed and negotiated upwards once fully trained on the site’s specialist machinery
