Press Brake Operator
Salary: £13.00 per hour
Hours: 38 hours per week, Monday to Thursday
Are you an experienced Press Brake Operator looking for a new opportunity within a busy and established manufacturing environment? We are seeking a skilled and reliable individual to join a growing production team, where quality, precision, and teamwork are at the heart of everything we do.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous Press Brake experience who enjoys working with precision‑engineered metal components and takes pride in producing high‑quality work.
Key Responsibilities- Set up and operate Press Brake machinery to bend and form metal components.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders.
- Select the correct tooling, dies, and machine settings for each job.
- Load, position, and align materials accurately to specification.
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to ensure consistent quality.
- Inspect finished parts using measuring equipment and quality standards.
- Carry out routine machine maintenance, cleaning, and basic troubleshooting.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve production targets and deadlines.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience operating Press Brake machines (
essential
). - The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
- Strong measuring, numerical, and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Experience using measuring and inspection tools.
Good understanding of health and safety procedures within a manufacturing environment. - A proactive attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- £13.00 per hour.
- 38‑hour working week.
- Monday to Thursday working pattern, offering a three‑day weekend every week.
