Location: Stafford (3 Office days, 2 days remote)

The Role

The role sits within the acquisition marketing team, working towards attracting new members to use our service through performance-driven digital channels including paid social, web search and app search.

While the role has a clear focus on direct response acquisition, you'll work within a collaborative team, where flexibility is important. This means applying your performance marketing skills across different campaigns, partners or channels as priorities shift.

This role is ideal for someone with hands‑on experience, 3 years Google Advertising exposure and who’s ready to take ownership of campaign performance, optimisation and testing, while working closely with senior marketers and wider teams.

Key Responsibilities Campaign & Channel Management
  • Manage and optimise direct response campaigns across:
  • Paid social platforms (e.g. Meta, Tik Tok)
  • Web search (e.g. Google Search, Bing)
  • App search and app acquisition campaigns

Support the planning and delivery of campaigns against acquisition and CPA targets

Growth, Testing & Optimisation
  • Generate campaign and promotion ideas to drive efficient member acquisition
  • Regularly analyse performance and produce clear, actionable reports
  • Optimise bids, budgets, targeting, creative and funnels based on performance data
  • Ensure new member journeys are optimised from click through to sign‑up
Creative, Messaging & Collaboration
  • Work closely with design, marketing and PR teams to deliver accurate, compelling messaging
  • Apply performance marketing best practice across other channels and campaigns when required
Reporting & Analysis
  • Monitor key performance metrics including CPA, conversion rate, ROAS and member quality
  • Use data and insights to recommend improvements and new opportunities
  • Support reporting using tools such as platform dashboards, BI software and Excel
Requirements Essential
  • Previous experience in a digital performance or direct response marketing role
  • Hands‑on experience managing paid digital campaigns (2-3 years minimum)
  • Analytical skills with the ability to use data to improve performance
  • Experience with marketing reporting and working towards cost‑per‑conversion goals
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail, particularly in marketing messaging and campaign setup
Desirable
  • Experience with app‑focused acquisition campaigns
  • Familiarity with mobile measurement platforms
