An excellent opportunity has become available for a committed, enthusiastic, and compassionate Band 5 Staff Nurse to join the nursing team on the Day Case Unit at County Hospital.

The Day Case Unit has recently expanded with a new, purpose-built, state-of-the-art Surgical Day Case facility. We are seeking dedicated and caring Band 5 Staff Nurses to join our team.

Our unit specializes in Day Surgery and surgical procedures that require post-operative recovery over a 24 to 48-hour period. Given the diverse range of surgical procedures conducted, this role offers numerous opportunities for professional development and learning.

You will be a registered NMC nurse, ideally with experience in surgical nursing. A strong interest in the relevant specialties is desirable. In return, we offer comprehensive induction training, a supportive and friendly team environment, and ongoing mentorship throughout your tenure with us. There will be opportunities to learn from experienced staff members and the Clinical Nurse Specialist, as well as the chance to observe surgical procedures firsthand.
