At Dignipets, we provide something truly special – compassionate end‑of‑life care for pets in the comfort of their own homes. We're looking for a caring veterinary surgeon to join our dedicated team in Stafford and help families say goodbye with dignity and love.

What Makes This Role Special:
  • Work 1 in 4 weekends and 1 in 4 bank holidays only
  • 5.6 weeks holiday to properly recharge next to your days off
  • Minimum 15 days off per 4‑week period
  • Full CPD funding – both in‑house and IAAHPC courses
  • All memberships paid – VDS, RCVS, and IAAHPC
  • Comprehensive training provided
  • Autonomy and trust – conduct home visits independently with full team backing
What We're Looking For:
  • RCVS registered veterinary surgeon
  • Full UK driving licence (essential for home visits)
  • Compassionate communicator who connects with grieving pet owners
  • Confident working independently while being a strong team player
  • Passionate about providing dignified, stress‑free end‑of‑life care
What You'll Be Doing:
  • Travelling to client's homes and pet crematoria
  • Conducting compassionate euthanasia as a mobile vet
  • Guiding families through the process
  • Arranging the pet carer's wishes for aftercare
  • Keeping records in our dedicated software
