Location:
Tamworth
Salary: £31,000 + Excellent Benefits
Hours:
Monday to Friday 9-5pm
Our client is a well-established and growing business seeking a proactive Sales Coordinator to join their friendly team in Tamworth. This is a varied role combining new business, account management and sales administration, making it ideal for someone who enjoys building customer relationships.
The RoleAs a Sales Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting customers throughout the sales process while identifying opportunities to maximise sales and strengthen client relationships.
Responsibilities- Manage a portfolio of existing customer accounts, building long-term relationships.
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently from enquiry through to delivery.
- Respond to inbound sales enquiries, preparing quotations and following up opportunities.
- Proactively contact existing customers to identify additional sales opportunities and generate repeat business.
- Liaise with customers regarding orders, delivery schedules and product availability.
- Work closely with internal departments to ensure orders are fulfilled on time.
- Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity using the CRM system.
- Provide exceptional customer service, resolving queries promptly and professionally.
- Support the external sales team with quotations, account management and administration.
- Help achieve team sales targets by delivering outstanding customer support and identifying opportunities for account growth.
- Previous experience within an Internal Sales, Sales Coordinator, Sales Support or Customer Account Management role.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience processing customer orders and quotations.
- A proactive and commercial approach with a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
- Good IT skills, including experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
