AboutThe Role
Our role in Stafford is about more than security – it is primarily a customer service role, incorporating security and some facilities management duties, to support our wider estates team. We are looking for someone who has excellent customer services skills, is willing to be flexible and works well in a close-knit team. We are willing to put the right candidate through their SIA licences (DS and CCTV) and other key training.
You must be willing to undertake any training required of the role to remain legally compliant and ensure we provide the best possible service. The role is physically demanding and will involve lifting and moving, patrolling and some cleaning duties to support the wider facilities management team. You must be capable of doing this. A driving licence is essential, ideally with category D1 to help drive our mini bus in the absence of the main driver (or willing to undertake training).
Responsibilities
- Respond to requests for access and support through our service, in a positive and proactive manner
- Monitor and review CCTV
- Respond to incidents including first aid
- Manage parking when required
- Support events including set up, access, security and mini bus driving
- Support the wider facilities management function with cleaning and portering duties such as setting up exams
- Provide excellent customer service
