Security Officer

Overview

Security Officer position at Keysight Technologies focused on maintaining a safe, secure, and professional environment for employees, visitors, contractors, and company assets.

• Conduct internal and external security patrols and prevent unauthorised access to the site.
• Monitor CCTV, fire alarms, intruder alarms, and other security systems.
• Manage site access, issue visitor and contractor passes, and carry out locking and unlocking procedures.
• Provide traffic management, enforce parking regulations, and maintain accurate security records and logbooks.
• Support health and safety compliance by reporting hazards, faults, accidents, and unsafe practices.
• Ensure emergency escape routes remain clear and assist with emergency response procedures.
• Investigate fire alarm activations and liaise with the SOC during incidents.

• Strong front-of-house and customer service skills.
• Experience working closely with facilities and site management teams.
• Good IT skills and the ability to use site security systems and software.
• Excellent reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• A valid SIA licence.
• Previous experience in a distribution or loss prevention environment.
• The right to work in the UK with a full 5-year checkable employment history.
