We are seeking a professional and vigilant SIA Door Supervisor to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining a secure environment through effective surveillance, loss prevention, and excellent customer service. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic setting where attention to detail and a proactive approach are essential.

• Monitor and control access points to prevent unauthorized entry
• Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to identify potential security threats
• Implement loss prevention strategies by observing suspicious behaviour and intervening when necessary
• Enforce venue policies in a courteous and professional manner
• Respond promptly to incidents, including providing first aid if required
• Maintain accurate records of incidents and security activities
• Conduct pat-downs or searches when appropriate, adhering to legal guidelines
• Collaborate with other security personnel and emergency services as needed

• Valid SIA Door Supervisor license is essential
• Prior experience in security or surveillance roles is desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided if necessary

• Knowledge of CCTV systems and loss prevention techniques is advantageous
• First aid certification or willingness to undertake training is preferred

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
• Strong observational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to handle challenging situations professionally and courteously

This role is paid weekly in arrears.
