Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Fire Stopper to join our team on a permanent basis. The role will involve carrying out high-quality fire stopping works across sites throughout the East and West Midlands, ensuring full compliance with fire safety regulations and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

* Install and maintain fire stopping systems in accordance with approved specifications and manufacturer guidelines

* Carry out fire sealing to service penetrations, including pipes, cables, ducts, and trunking

* Install fire barriers, fire batts, fire mastic, intumescent products, and collars

* Read and interpret drawings, plans, and specifications

* Ensure all works meet current fire safety regulations and building standards

* Complete work to a high standard within agreed timescales

* Accurately record completed works, including photographic evidence and reports where required

* Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant working environment

* Liaise professionally with site managers, clients, and other trades on site

Requirements:

* Proven experience in fire stopping works

* Strong knowledge of passive fire protection systems and regulations

* Ability to work independently and manage workload across multiple sites

* CSCS card (essential)

* NVQ Level 2 in Passive Fire Protection or equivalent (preferred)

* Full UK driving licence (essential)

* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
