Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join the team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both industrial and commercial electrical work, with proficiency in handling various electrical systems and equipment. This role involves performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to ensure the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems within our facilities.

The role will involve travel within England and Wales but predominantly around the Midlands and North of England.

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment
• Troubleshoot issues and diagnose electrical problems
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute installation and repair tasks
• Conduct electrical installations and modifications
• Utilize hand tools effectively for various tasks including frame carpentry and general maintenance person duties

• Proven experience as an industrial electrician or commercial electrician is essential
• Experience working on construction sites with a strong understanding of safety protocols

• Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately
• Proficient in using hand tools and power tools for electrical installations and repairs
• Must have 18th Edition as well as NVQ level 3 Electrical Installation
• Would be advantageous to have the following qualifications:
  City & Guilds 2391-52, MCS, City & Guilds 2399, City & Guilds 2919-01, OZEV Approved Installer
