Part-Time Warehouse Operative​/FLT CB Driver

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established industrial supplies business, for a reliable and experienced warehouse operative to join their small, friendly team on a long-term, part-time basis. This is a stable, ongoing opportunity — not a short-term contract — and is ideally suited to someone looking for consistent, regular work that fits around other commitments.

Working within a busy but well‑organised warehouse environment, you will be supporting the day‑to‑day operations across a range of duties.

• Operating a counterbalance forklift truck (approximately 20% of the role)
• Picking, packing, and dispatching customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Carrying out stock takes and supporting inventory management
• Loading and unloading deliveries
• General warehouse housekeeping and organisation

• A valid, externally accredited Counterbalance Forklift certificate is essential
• Previous warehouse experience in a similar environment
• The ability to perform regular manual handling and lifting duties on a systematic basis
• A practical, sensible approach to work – someone who takes care, follows procedure, and takes health and safety seriously
• Good reliability and punctuality – a consistent, dependable presence is key

2–3 days per week, 09:00 to approximately 15:00–16:00, with days to be confirmed. This is a long‑term placement with a stable, established business.
