About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and organised Warehouse Administrator to join our busy warehouse team. This role is ideal for someone with excellent administrative skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced logistics environment. You will provide administrative support to warehouse operations while ensuring accurate stock control and timely processing of documentation.

Key Responsibilities

* Maintain accurate stock and inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS).

* Prepare delivery notes, manifests, and shipping paperwork.

* Liaise with warehouse operatives, drivers, customers, and transport teams.

* Input and update data accurately within company systems.

* Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies.

* Produce reports and maintain filing systems.

* Support inventory counts and stock audits.

* Answer telephone and email enquiries professionally.

* Ensure compliance with company policies and health & safety procedures.

Requirements

* Previous experience in a warehouse administration or logistics administration role.

* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.

* Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS) or ERP systems is desirable.

* Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.

* Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.

* Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

* Flexible approach to working rotating shifts.

* GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths preferred.

Desirable Skills

* Experience with in a distribution, logistics, or manufacturing environment.

* Knowledge of stock control processes.

* SAP, Oracle, or similar systems experience (advantageous but not essential).

Shift Pattern

This position operates on a rotating shift pattern, which may include:

* 6:00am – 2:00pm

* 2:00pm – 10:00pm
